Located on the northwest side of Chicago, North Park Village Nature Center features a 46-acre nature preserve and educational facility, situated within the 155-acre North Park Village campus. The nature preserve offers trails that wind through woodland, wetland, prairie, and savanna.

The mission of North Park Village Nature Center is to provide visitors with an opportunity to interact with and learn about wildlife and natural resources in an urban setting. There are programs, events, and activities for all ages to enjoy while discovering our shared natural heritage at the first nature center within the city of Chicago. Open 7 days a week (excluding holidays) from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

In accordance with updated recommendations from the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Chicago Park District is revising its indoor mask policy due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in Chicago.  Face coverings are now required for all individuals in all public indoor park settings regardless of vaccination status.
Outdoor:
The Chicago Park District encourages everyone to follow the recommendations of public health officials from the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and unvaccinated persons should continue to wear a face covering in crowded outdoor settings or in instances where social distancing cannot be maintained.

If you want to come but do not have a mask, please come anyways! We will have masks available for you!
