Garfield Park

This park has one lagoon with marshy borders and an island, as well as upland shrubby areas. The best place for birding is on the west side, but during migration a wide assortment of species can be seen wherever habitat exists. A wildflower garden is south of the lagoon, and the famous Garfield Park Conservatory is 2 blocks north on Central Park Boulevard.
