Chicago Audubon Society Welcomes New Office Manager

After more than two outstanding years of service to the Chicago Audubon Society as office manager, we are sorry to say goodbye to Tracy Heuschel. Tracy diligently fielded phone calls, mailed out the Compass, signed up new members, kept the organization running, and famously and courageously cleaned and organized our office in a heroic effort that will not soon be forgotten!

Tracy is leaving CAS after receiving her bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Northeastern Illinois University. She is hitting the road and moving to Minneapolis where she will pursue career opportunities. Best of luck to you, Tracy!

Coming in as our new office manager is Skipper Joy Wolters. Skipper has extensive experience in office management, writing and editing, and is very passionate about birding and conservation. Her previous experience includes working for the Nature Conservancy, Nilestar Tours (where she traveled to Africa), and the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission. She is also an accomplished artist and holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. Her art can be seen at www.artcreatingnature.com. In her spare time, Skipper is actively tracing and writing her father's experiences in World War II. Welcome, Skipper!
