IOS Fundamentals of Birding Seminar

The Illinois Ornithological Society (IOS) is planning on conducting a Fundamentals of Birding seminar Friday afternoon, June 3, from 4pm - 6pm and Saturday afternoon June 4, 2005, from 2:00pm - 4:30pm as part of the IOS annual meeting in Rockford. The seminar is aimed at the newer or less experienced birder or anyone interested in getting started in birding. Topics include bird identification, where to go birding, how to buy and use binoculars, field guides selection, etc. A field trip will be held on Saturday morning.
