June CAS Program at Lincoln Park Zoo
Please join us for the next Chicago Audubon Society program, "Notes From The Field - Lessons Learned While Chasing Birds for 30 Years," Thursday, June 23rd, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park Zoo, in the Judy Keller Education Center (also known as Keller Auditorium), 2200 North Cannon Drive, Chicago. Greg Neise, Staff Photographer for Lincoln Park Zoo and Vice President of the Rainforest Conservation Fund, will share a wide range of his work in a multimedia presentation that will feature birds and animals photographed throughout North America, Costa Rica, the Peruvian Amazon, and at Lincoln Park Zoo.
A dedicated conservationist, Mr. Neise will discuss the interdependence of efforts to protect wildlife and habitat here and in the Amazon rain forests. Although most Chicago Audubon Society programs are hosted at North Park Village Nature Center, our June event will be held at the Judy Keller Education Center to take advantage of the sophisticated audiovisual equipment available in this state-of-the-art facility. The evening will open with an informal reception and light refreshments at 6:30 PM, with the main program beginning at 7:00 PM. In addition to Chicago Audubon Society members and their guests, the audience will include a select group of Lincoln Park Zoo members interested in conservation issues. This program is free. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. Advanced registration is required; please register by Monday, June 20th.
